Post-Doctoral Associate in 2D Materials
A postdoctoral position under the direction of Professor Mitchell Luskin is available at the University of Minnesota to participate in the development of analytical and machine-learning methods to model the mechanical and electronic properties of 2D materials. This position is supported by the NSF and NSERC and involves collaboration with mathematicians, materials scientists, and physicists at UBC, Stanford, Michigan, and LSU.Responsibilities:(65%) Research:Conduct high quality research and disseminate the results through publications and invited talks and conferences.Participate in the research mission of the department, especially through interaction with faculty and students.Participate in and organize research seminars.(30%) Teaching:Develop
