Job Summary: To provide scientific expertise in advanced materials characterization techniques and analysis. Responsible for the operation of advanced materials equipment, analysis of scientific findings, training users, preventative maintenance and repair, and daily upkeep of instrumentation and supporting equipment.Essential Duties: Operate, maintain, and provide scientific analysis and interpretation of results from advanced characterization equipment: x-ray equipment, optical and scanning and transmission electron microscopes, AFM, thermal analysis systems, FTIR, Raman, and Nanoindentation equipment, and specimen preparation-related equipment.Instruct; train users
