We seek outstanding candidates whose research and teaching interests lie broadly in experimental and computational materials science and engineering, with applications in advanced manufacturing, energy, infrastructure systems, and security and resilience. In addition, the candidate is expected to contribute to curriculum development in these areas, engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research across Rutgers and with external partners.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering, or a closely related discipline, completed by the time of appointment. Candidates are expected to have demonstrated excellence in research, potential for or record of external funding, and a strong commitment to teaching and student success.
