Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville to begin in Spring or Summer 2024. The successful applicant will work together with Professor Adrian Del Maestro on projects related to AI-assisted theoretical/computational modeling and collaborate with researchers from Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering. Research will involve feedback loops between theory and experiment, evaluating quantum materials design & growth and spectroscopy techniques such as neutron scattering and photoemission.
