D-25-CEE-00006 | Research | Civil and Environmental Engineering
The Moini Lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Princeton University is seeking a Post-doctoral or more senior Researcher candidate with a strong background in the following areas: alternative cements (e.g., chemistry of calcium silicate and carbonate cements), physics of diffusion and carbonation, early-stage rheological characteristics, life cycle analysis, and design and additive manufacturing of architected materials. Previous experience in experimental, numerical, and parametric design research and experience is a plus. The project involves entrepreneurial activities, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to lead translational research endeavors and collaborate with other members of the lab. Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. in a relevant field, including but not limited to cement chemistry, material science, or structural materials and mechanics. Candidates with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary research are especially encouraged to apply.
