Postdoctoral Associate (Pine)
A postdoctoral position is available in Professor David Pine’s research group in the Center for Soft Matter Research in the Department of Physics at New York University. The project focuses on the fabrication and optical characterization of photonic crystals formed by the self-assembly of colloidal particles into diamond and other unconventional symmetries.
The successful candidate will develop and implement new strategies for colloidal self-assembly, including colloidal epitaxy and microfluidic-based methods. They will also implement advanced optical characterization techniques, such as
