The School of Packaging has 3 openings for Research Associates in the Sustainable Materials Group.
Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have expertise in polymer chemistry (e.g., synthesis and characterization).
Candidates will be expected to design, develop, and perform experiments and report progress to Dr. Rabnawaz. In addition, these candidates will be expected to mentor one or two graduate students in the research group.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Material Sciences
Minimum Requirements
Candidates will have completed a PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences or a closely related field by the position start date.
Desired Qualifications
Candidates will have a good record of productivity in polymer synthesis, catalysis, and materials as well as have expertise in the analytical techniques such as NMR, GPC, DSC, DMA, TGA, tensile properties, etc
