Department Name: 8E030:ChemistryJob Summary: The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY seeks to fill a tenure-eligible faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in the field of Radioanalytical/Nuclear Chemistry. This is a 9-month position in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2025. We seek candidates with significant research expertise in the use of a Van de Graaff accelerator and neutron-induced reactions for the study of nuclear structure and characterization of materials used for construction of nuclear reactors, areas that align with the UK Research Priority Areas in Energy and/or Materials Science.
