Job Description Summary: The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Oakland University invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant/associate professor level in the broad area of mechanical/materials engineering. The appointment would be effective as early as August 2025.We seek applicants with research and teaching interests related to materials/tribology including, but not limited to Tribology, Polymers and Polymer Processing, Computational Tribology/Computational Materials Science, Metallurgy, Metal Forming Tribology, Nanomaterials and Composite/Hybrid Materials.
