Adjunct Instructor
UMD Swenson College of Science and Engineering is recruiting a part-time adjunct instructor to help teach in the Applied Materials Science (AMS) graduate program. The candidate will be responsible for 3 contact hours per semester, which is the equivalent of teaching a 3-credit course and will be 25% time (10 hours per week). The initial appointment will be for one year, starting August 19th, 2024 through May 18th, 2025, with further appointments contingent upon performance and availability of funding. The AMS program is part of the Advanced Materials Center and is designed to be an interdisciplinary program focused on sustainable and resilient materials and connecting students directly with industry.
