Position Description The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Washington is seeking qualified candidates for two full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in all areas of research in materials science and engineering to start Fall 2023. Priority will be given to candidates in either one of two areas of special interest: (1) scalable synthesis, analysis and implementation of materials relevant to Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE), and (2) development of biomedical imaging materials and related technologies (e.g., computational modeling and machine learning) for disease diagnosis and treatment.
