General DescriptionThe Whiting School of Engineering (WSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) invites applications for the position of Director of the Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute (HEMI).  The Director will be appointed as a full-time faculty member in the Whiting School of Engineering and will be encouraged to remain active in research, with strategic leadership of the Institute as their top priority.
