The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (CEMS) seeks to hire an administrative staff member to lead all aspects of CEMS events and communications. This position will collaborate closely and connect with colleagues in all areas of CEMS, Centers, CSE, community partners, media, and the general public as needed. The Communications and Events Associate will write, edit, and proof an expansive variety of materials from a large volume of information for all digital and print platforms and channels, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective messaging and branding following CEMS and U of M brand and editorial standards. They will serve as the departmental coordinator and planner for all events and create a connection between outreach, communication, marketing, and events.
