Scope of Position:
Provide on-shift technical support for the manufacturing process. Provide second and third level troubleshooting of process and equipment issues. Additionally, can make recommendations to resolve problems long term.

Required Qualifications
2-year degree in Mechatronics or similar discipline OR High School diploma / GED and minimum 4 years of technical experience with verifiable electrical systems capabilities.
Experienced in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment, electrical and pneumatic controls including use of test equipment
Familiarity with sensors, thermocouples (TCs), switches, motors, and actuators
Ability to read/comprehend electrical, mechanical drawings, and machine specifications
The ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Provide on-shift technical influence
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues with focus on meeting production targets
Production support for any throughput or safety items that may be hindering output.
Resolution to ongoing chronic issues to implement robust controls solutions.
Provide detailed documentation at the completion of projects.
Accountable for monitoring area performance, identifying equipment and process issues, and following issues to closure
Simultaneously managing and troubleshooting multiple issues using technical standards to drive resolution
Preventive Maintenance and equipment upkeep efforts
Provide technical expertise to maintenance personnel in the repairs, maintenance, testing, installation, and debugging of equipment
Maintain the systems and actions necessary to ensure compliance with department certification programs, quality system audit program, and ISO14000 registration
Advocate a safe work environment and help enforce all housekeeping and safety regulations
