• PhD. in Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Science or closely related field and at least two years of related experience post PhD.
• Experience in aberration corrected electron microscopy and monochromated electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS)
• Quantitative electron diffraction and electron crystallography
• Electronic excitation and in-situ biasing to measure materials' dynamic response
• Sample preparation skills using focused ion beams
• Ultrafast electron diffraction and microscopy
• Knowledge of charge-spin-lattice interactions and ordering
• Understanding density-function theories and fine-structures of EEL spectra
• Effective communication skills and demonstrated publication record
