PremaTech’s General Manager is the leader in the Worcester, MA, manufacturing plant, with total P&L responsibility, leadership responsibility, driving profitability, and growth of the plant. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the success of the plant including, but not limited to, safety and compliance with state and federal laws, plant product, monthly and yearly reports, annual budget setting, goal setting, and personnel hiring, development, and evaluation. The General Manager will exhibit a leadership style and direction supportive of PremaTech’s values and goals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and manage the overall strategies and business objectives for the plant, including sales and business development initiatives
Budget and fiscal management that promote a profitable P&L
Develop and improve internal policies and procedures pertaining to operational management and operating plans
Initiate and develop plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital
Interface with customers in a sales development capacity, as well as an account retention/satisfaction capacity
Develops and champions PremaTech’s principles that promote an atmosphere of commitment to continuous improvement in quality and all other key performance goals
Works closely with offsite Human Resources department for operations personnel recruitment and development, including succession planning
Cash Management Responsibilities- visibility, control, governance, and reporting of all cash activities
Travel as needed for industry and client related events
