Senior Materials Scientist or Engineer

We seek a Senior Materials Scientist or Engineer with broad design, manufacturing, and operational expertise to join our national products liability practice group.
The Senior Materials Scientist or Engineer will provide investigation, analysis, reports and testimony where technical and scientific answers are needed to help resolve civil and criminal litigation, and insurance claims involving personal injury and product liability analysis. Expertise must include hands-on experience with metallurgical, ceramic/glass, polymers, and material failure experience; and in-depth knowledge of operational safety issues and manufacturing standards of care.
This position is available on a contract basis.
Requirements:
·A degreed engineer is required
·Ph.D. is preferred
·PE license is highly preferred
·15+ years hands-on experience
·Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
·Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
